Borealis Excellence Grant for Undergraduate Students in Austria, 2019

To give the wings for your dreams, the Webster Vienna Private University is offering the Borealis Excellence Grant to the best-of-the-best freshman students from Austria.
The studentship is available for those eligible candidates who want to pursue an undergraduate degree program of the academic year 2019-2020 at the university.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Citizens from Austria
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate coursework in any subject
  • Admissible Criteria: For being a part of the program, aspirants must have currently enrolled undergraduate with a current cumulative GPA of 4.0 on the American 4-point scale (see FAQs) after their freshman year.

How to Apply

  • How to apply: For receiving this education award, the claimants must be currently enrolled at the university. Candidates can download and submit the award application form and send it to borealis.excellence@webster.ac.at.
  • Supporting Documents: Must attach a 500 – 1.000-word essay focusing on: why you chose the particular major, what makes you an excellent student and therefore eligible for the bursary, what are your career aspirations, leadership skills or other distinctions? Your extra-curricular activities in relation to your studies.
  • Language Requirement: For taking advantage of this program, all candidates need to demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and outstanding spoken and written English above the English as a Second Language-level.

Benefits

The grant will cover the full tuition renewable annually up to a total of 3 years including books and housing cost.
