Scholarship Benefits: 150,000 Yen a month for undergraduate studies and 180,000 Yen a month for graduate studies.

Eligible Nationalities: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam.

Eligibility Criteria: The students must not hold any citizenship in Japan. And also, a person who is good at academic and dedicated to academics, who works for social contribution such as regional exchange volunteer activities.

Application Procedure:

  • Academic transcripts, language ability proof, copy of the passport, a recent photo, personal statement, details of referees, and curriculum vitae should be submitted.
  • 12 years of academic education for an undergraduate program, an undergraduate degree for a master and a master’s degree for doctoral studies are required.

SEARCA Graduate funding for Southeast Asians 2020-2021 is open for Asian Students . The scholarship allows Masters, PhD level programm(s) in the field of Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Forestry, Social Sciences, Statistics taught at Universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippine.. Scholarship Benefits: Covers stipend, tuition, international and domestic travel allowances, thesis/dissertation support, book allowance, and health insurance.

Eligible Nationalities: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.

Eligibility Criteria: The SEARCA Graduate Scholarship is open to nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam who are regular employees of academic, research or government institutions and not more than 35 years old (for Master’s degree) or 40 years old (for PhD) at the time of application.

Application Procedure:

Interested parties may submit their accomplished SEARCA Scholarship Application form together with other original application requirements to the Ministries of Education/Higher Education of their respective countries. Applicants must check the deadlines set by the Ministries to receive/accept applications of SEARCA scholarship. These Ministries will then screen and endorse applications to SEARCA not later than 31 July 2019.

At the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Summit, Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump and USAID Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick announced the second round of the WomenConnect Challenge under the White House-led Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) initiative. W-GDP is a U.S. Government wide effort to economically empower 50 million women in the developing world by 2025. By investing in women, USAID is enabling countries to progress beyond assistance by unlocking human potential on a transformational scale. USAID will disburse approximately three grants globally. The period of performance for each award is up to 24 months

Apply For Government of Korea K-Startup Grand Challenge 2019 for Entrepreneurs

The Korean government is working to transform the country’s economy for another century of success, ultimately raising employment, the GDP and Korea’s place in the world. In order to do this, the government is supporting talented entrepreneurs and promising startups to turn Korea and Pangyo Techno Valley into a global startup hub in Asia. The top ranked 50 teams selected by the accelerators will be invited to stay in Korea to participate a four-month accelerating program in Pangyo, located south of Seoul. At the end of the accelerating program, the government will host a Demo Day to select the top 25 startups from the program. They will get additional financial incentives, and if they establish their businesses in Korea, they will get additional support from the government.

Selection Criteria: The selection panel will give priority to startups working on disruption in the following criteria, but they will also consider startups with brilliant ideas in any sector:

The top 40 startups selected will be eligible to receive a total of $22,727 each in funding for settlement in Korea
based on their performances at the ‘Demo Day’ and according to the Settlement Evaluation.
All 80 startups in the program wil each receive about $11,136 (12,250,000 KRW) to cover living expenses in equal installments over 3½ months.

Additional Investments The five accelerators will make equity investments in the most promising startups. Startups will have access to other VC’s and investors who may choose to invest.
